MFC Goes to Phillies

The firefighters of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore and their families attended a Phillies game on August 23rd. A great time was had by all with the exception of the Phillies who lost 3-2. The game was a homecoming of sorts for Bret Myers who pitched his first game in Citizen’s Bank Park since leaving the Phillies and joining the Astros. After a controversial call at first base, the Astros were able to rally in the eighth to take the lead for good on this wet, rainy night.

The firefighters worked very hard throughout the year to raise the funds to participate in and enjoy this annual event.
