7th Annual MFCA Golf Outing

The Merion Fire Company held its 7th Annual golf Outing Presented by Suburban Square on June 28th at Hershey’s Mill Golf Club in West Chester. The course was in impeccable shape with fast greens and beautiful plush fairways. Upon arrival, the golfers were given a boxed lunch before heading out to their designated starting hole. The format of the day was a ‘Shamble’ (best ball off the tee). After golf, a wonderful BBQ style dinner was provided followed by a decadent sundae station.

A special thank you goes to Tom Watt, Golf Committee Chairperson, for organizing such a wonderful event. This event was also made possible by the corporate sponsorship of Suburban Square and many other local businesses. It is through their generosity and that of the many golfers who participated that we are able to raise money to support the volunteer efforts of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore and its firefighters. We look forward to another wonderful outing next year!
