Armen Chevy Car Fire

Shortly before 3 PM our neighbors from Armen Chevy ran into the firehouse and reported a car fire on the lot next door. Merion firefighters quickly knocked down the fire. The company was back in service in 30 minutes.

Healthy Kids Day at YMCA

Engine 25 and crew attended a Healthy Kids Day fair at the Main Line YMCA. The kids learned fire prevention as well as got to see the fire apparatus and equipment.

Engine 25 handled fluid control at Haverford Station and Montgomery after a car accident with injuries shortly before 3:00PM.

Shortly after noon Engine 25 handled a small brush fire in front of 233 East Lancaster Ave in Wynnewood. The company was back in service in 15 minutes.

Merion firefighters handled a smoking computer in an apartment on West Athens Ave on Friday afternoon.

Championship Parade

Ardmore Firefighters attended Sunday afternoons Championship Parade for the Lower Merion High School boys basketball program. The Aces defeated top ranked Chester in last months PIAA AAAA State Championship. Great Job Aces!!!

Panera Bread

Shortly after 4:30 Am the Merion Fire Company assisted by Narberth Fire Company were dispatched to a report of smoke in the building at Panera Bread in the 200 block of East Lancaster Ave. Crews found smoke in the building from the hood system not working properly.

Companies were in service for 30 minutes.
