7/29/2022 19:24 – Station 25 was dispatched to 11 Cricket Ave for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, first-in crews found heavy smoke in the basement and an activated sprinkler system. The call was upgraded to the building fire response bringing units from all of the companies in Lower Merion. An electrical problem in the basement at the breaker box was found and PECO was called to assist. Power was shut off to the block and the fire condition was resolved, the electrical problem was turned over to PECO. All businesses and apartments were checked for smoke and CO.
