7/6/2020 13:30 The building response was dispatched to 101 Cheswold Lane in Haverford for a report of smoke in the basement. Engine 25-1 was first to arrive and reported medium smoke in the basement of a 5 story apartment building. Companies found a smoking generator discharging into the basement. It was shut down and the building was checked and ventilated.

Merion Fire Company and Engine 21 responded to Wellington Road in Ardmore for a report of a trash fire. Chief 25 arrived with trash cans and the window frame on the back of the house on fire. Neighbors jumped into action calling 911, discharging a fire extinguisher, and putting two garden hoses into service. Engine 25-1 pulled an attack line and finished the job.
