12/24/2022 06:39 – Station 25 responded to 75 East Lancaster Ave for an odor of gas in the building.

12/24/2022 19:43 – Station 25 responded to a report of a house fire in the 1000 block of Fairway Lane in the Gladwyne section. Fire was found in multiple walls and the Lower Merion working fire box was transmitted. Firefighters worked for over 3 hours in 10-degree weather to control the fire.

12/15/2022 16:14 – The Merion Fire Company responded to 100 Llanalew Rd in Haverford for a report of a fire in one of the condominium units.  Chief 25, first on scene, found heavy fire showing and called for the 2^nd alarm bringing assistance from all of the Lower Merion Fire Companies.  The crew from the first arriving engine, Engine 25, put up a tremendous effort, forcing their way into the burning unit and quickly getting the fire knocked down and preventing it from spreading to any other units in the mid-sized complex.  The combined efforts of all those involved kept what could have been a catastrophic fire contained to one unit with no civilian injuries.  The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
