7/27/2022 18:30 – The Merion Fire Company attended the memorial at Union Fire Association’s station for Thomas E. Royds who lost his life in the line of duty in 2021. State Fire Commissioner, Charles McGarvey, Union Fire Chief, James Hornung, President, Mike Leibowitz, along with Firefighters injured in the same incident,  Alex Fischer and Sam Shaffer, all spoke eloquently and shared their personal connections and memories of Tom Royds. Many good memories were shared throughout the night.

7/27/2022 06:11 – The Merion Fire Company responded to assist Narberth Fire Company and the rest of the working fire dispatch on a reported kitchen fire.  The incident was quickly handled.
