On Friday night 11/30 the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore dropped Santa and Mrs. Clause at the Ardmore Business Association Christmas tree lighting ceremony with special guest Mike Jerrick FOX 29!
11/29/19 13:23 Stove Fire
Even on Thanksgiving fires happen. At 1:23 pm Thanksgiving afternoon, Firefighters from the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore extinguished a stove fire and gas leak at the 429 Apartments in the Haverford section of the Township. The fire was quickly placed under control and the gas leak was handled. The company was back in service in 1 hour.
11/25/19 19:00 Monday Evening Drill
Drill last Monday consisted of search and rescue in a smoked up office building in the Bala Cynwyd section.
We left to respond to a car fire on Montgomery Ave during the drill.
