CHRISTMAS MORNING

At 01:33 on Christmas morning Ardmore and Bryn Mawr firefighters handled a commercial dumpster fire behind the Baldwin School on Radnor Street. Engine 25-1 laid a 5″ supply line from the hydrant at Montgomery Ave, laid into the back of the school, and deployed a hand line. Engine 23 deployed a hand line from Radnor Street.  After packing and cleaning equipment the Merion Fire Company was back in service by 03:20.

12/18/2021 14:05 – A 911 call was received for a report of a building fire at 21 East Spring Ave. Deputy 25 arrived within one minute and deployed a water extinguisher on the active fire in the hallway of the first-floor apartment. The call was held to 25 & 23 units for overhaul and smoke removal.
