The crew from the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore that responded to and extinguished the 5/17/2021 building fire.

5/17/2021 18:36 – The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore along with Gladwyne Fire Company, an Engine from Bryn Mawr, and a Ladder from Narberth were dispatched to the 200 block of Cheswold Hill Road in Haverford for a report of smoke coming from the attic. The first arriving engine from Ardmore declared a working fire and went into service with multiple hand lines. Apparatus from all Lower Merion companies were dispatched to assist.  Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire in the attic and void spaces. The fire was declared under control in one hour. There were no injuries.

5/16/2021 18:57 – The building response responded to 16 Haverford Station Road in Haverford for a report of a Building Fire. The first arriving chief encountered a smoke condition on the first floor and basement. Firefighters forced the door and found the electrical service on fire in the basement.
