9/1/2022 21:39 – For the second time in 24 hours, the Merion Fire Company responded to a second call while already in service.  This was also the 7th call of the day, making it a very busy day for the crews of Station 25.

Crews responded to Cricket Flats Apartments and found 1 person trapped in an elevator when the power went out.  The subject was rescued in short order through the top of the elevator.

9/1/2022 21:35 – Station 25 responded to 1 Ardmore Place for the report of fumes in the building.  Crews on scene found the power out to the area and a large generator running causing a slight odor in the area.

9/1/2022 19:31 – Station 25 responded to the 100 block of Coulter Ave for the report of a smoke alarm in a vacant building.  First-in crews found a recently extinguished fire in a stairwell with no one present and proceeded to check the building for extension or possible secondary fires.
