5/6/20 15:10 – At 3:09 PM the Merion Fire Company with the basic building response responded to the 16 Plaza office building for smoke in the building. Firefighters tracked down the smoke and handled it. Companies remained on location for 45 minutes.
5/4/2020 15:16: The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore assisted by Gladwyne, Narberth, and Bryn Mawr Fire Companies responded to a fire in the attic of a large home on Cheswold Hill Road in Haverford today at 3:16 PM. First arriving firefighters quickly stretched hose lines and placed a ladder in service. The Incident Commander called apparatus from Belmont Hills, Penn Wynne, Bala Cynwyd, and Narberth Ambulance as part of the working fire protocol. The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes. Firefighters remained on location for 90 minutes. There were no injuries.
Roof damage today in Ardmore
4/30/2020 14:30 – Ardmore Firefighters responded to Gerhard Appliance Company on Lancaster Ave at 2 PM today for a large piece of roofing material that blew off the roof in the high winds and was hanging off the building endangering pedestrians. Firefighters from Engine 25-1 and Ladder 25 quickly made the scene safe.
