10/29/2022 10:30 Members of the New Truck Committee were at Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, WI over the weekend to perform the pre-delivery inspection on Engine 25. The truck looks great! We can’t wait to have it in service soon!
  

10/26/2022 4:05 – Station 25 was dispatched to a tree and wires on fire near a home on Avonwood Road.  The crew from Engine 25 along with PECO handled the situation.

10/24/2022 19:00 – The Merion Fire Company had a great night of training with Eckert Fire Tactics.  RIT tactics were practiced at the township burn tower.  It was a hard but rewarding night for all those that participated. For those that don’t know a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) is a designated crew that serves as a stand-by rescue team for personnel and is available for the immediate search and rescue of any missing, trapped, injured, or unaccounted-for firefighter (s).
