1/1/2023 13:00 – The members of the Merion Fire Company and Isaac Boyd’s family members placed a wreath on his grave in a long-held tradition on New Year’s Day. On December 31, 1930, Merion Fire Company Firefighter Isaac Boyd was killed in the line of duty when the fire engine he was driving crashed on route to a house fire started by wiring on a Christmas tree.

 

12/27/2022 16:26 – Station 25 responded to E Lancaster Ave for a vehicle that struck a building.  The building was checked and loose glass was removed by the Engine 25 crew.

12/27/2022 12:00 – Engine and Ladder 25 handled a broken sprinkler system in the unit block of West Spring Ave.
