9/11/2026 | 0907 Hours – Station 25 responded to 203 Linwood Ave. in Ardmore for a reported house fire. Units from Stations 21, 23, 24, 28, 313, and the Fire Marshal’s Office responded as part of the initial building fire assignment.
The first-arriving crew quickly located a fire in a second-floor bedroom and went to work. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and bring the incident under control before it could spread further through the home.
Crews remained on scene to check the surrounding walls, ceilings, and adjoining areas for any hidden fire or extension before taking up and returning to service.
The quick response and coordinated work of all companies on scene helped keep the fire contained and prevented a more serious incident.
