3/6/2020 1144 – Ardmore Firefighters handled a car fire on Greenfield Ave just south of the fire station today at 11:44 AM. The fire was quickly controlled and the road was back open in 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
2/22/2020 Training – Always Training
2/22/2020 – Training is important and learning never stops at Ardmore. Several members are working with others in the Township to complete their Fire Fighter I certification, a grueling 288-hour course comprised of classroom studies and practical evolutions. Today was hydrant work – Keep up the good work guys!
2/19/2020 19:00 Lower Merion Township Commendation Ceremony
Members of the Fire Brigade who responded and operated at the Water Rescue at Simpson and County Line on August 7, 2019, were awarded a Chief’s Commendation at the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners meeting.
The Company received a Unit Citation along with the other Lower Merion Fire Department Companies for their actions on August 2, 2019, on David Drive in Bala Cynwyd where a child was rescued from a heavily involved house fire.
Congratulations to these Fine Men and to all of the other fire companies and individuals who received awards for their bravery in the line of duty.
