01/01/2026 1300 – Members of the Merion Fire Company and the family of Isaac Boyd placed a wreath on his grave in a long-held New Year’s Day tradition. On December 31, 1930, Merion Fire Company Firefighter Isaac Boyd was killed in the line of duty when the fire apparatus he was driving crashed while in route to a house fire started by a fire in a Christmas tree.

12/31/2025 1356  – Station 25 turned out to 250 E. Lancaster Avenue and Chatham Road for an unknown type of fire. On arrival, crews found an electrical issue in the strip mall and an underground electrical issue. All of the affected stores were checked by crews, and the incident was turned over to PECO.
