8/28/2026 | 1551 Hours – Station 25 responded to 170 Lakeside Road for a reported fire alarm.
Upon arrival, Ardmore firefighters encountered a smoke condition near the elevator and began investigating the source. Crews determined that an overheated pump was responsible for the smoke.
Firefighters secured the affected area and checked for any signs of fire or extension before clearing the scene.
Fire alarm activations can be caused by many different situations, but every alarm is treated as a potential emergency until our crews can investigate and determine that the building is safe.
