9/4/2026 | 0505 Hours – Ardmore firefighters responded to the intersection of Haverford Station Road and W. Lancaster Ave. for a report of a manhole on fire.
Upon arrival, Station 25 crews secured the area and began investigating. Due to the potential hazards associated with an underground electrical incident, firefighters also checked nearby businesses for elevated carbon monoxide levels while awaiting the arrival of PECO.
Once PECO arrived, the scene was turned over to their crews for further investigation and repairs.
