3/18/2025 1845 – Senator Cappelletti stopped by Station 25 to formally present a check for the purchase of our Command Vehicle. In January the Merion Fire Company was proud (and excited!) to put our new Command Vehicle into service. It was with the special help of Senator Cappelletti that we were able to purchase this vehicle. We can not thank Senator Cappelletti and her team enough for making it happen!
The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Patrol PPV was put into service in January to increase the protection of the public in Ardmore and the surrounding communities. The unit will be used by the Chief and Officers at Ardmore to increase the command and control capabilities of the company, providing an increase in safety to our residents and firefighters during emergency responses by having a dedicated tool for communication, incident command, and manpower tracking.
