5/20/2026 1259 – Station 25 with Station 23, Engine 24, Ladder 26, and RIT 21 were dispatched to the unit block of  W. Lancaster Avenue for a report of smoke in the building and a strong odor of smoke.  First in crews found severely burnt food in an upstairs apartment and removed the food.

5/19/2026 1959 –Station 25 was dispatched to the 400 block of Owen Road for a wires sparking on a tree. Crews arrived to find a branch on power lines and waited for PECO to de-energize the lines before watering down any residual debris.

 

5/18/2026 1502 –Station 25 was dispatched to two calls on Ardmore Ave. Call #1 was a high-tension wire on fire in front of houses. The second call was to check the electric service and alarm at a commercial building in the 100 block. There was a power failure in town during these events.
