8/19/2025 1359 – Station 25 responded to 346 E Lancaster Road for an elevator rescue.

8/19/2025 1038 – The Merion Fire Company assisted with an odor in the building next to our station at Armen Chevy Service.

8/15/2025 0220 – Station 25 received a fire alarm at the Ardmore House on Ardmore Ave. Our first engine arrived with smoke showing. The working fire box was transmitted, and Command was set up. Two 1 3/4″ lines were put into service while elderly residents were evacuated to safety. One line went to the upper floor and into the trash chute, and the second line was taken into the trash room to control the fire.
All Lower Merion companies went into service, taking the residents of the building to safety and ventilating the upper floors. Manoa and Conshohocken responded for FAST team duty and a cover assignment.
I commend and thank all the firefighters, ambulance personnel, police, and fire companies that responded. This contributed to quick fire control and no injuries to the 62 residents who were in the building.
