9/9/2026 | 1213 Hours – Station 25 responded to 101 Mill Creek Road in Ardmore for a reported fire in a second-floor apartment. Units from Stations 26, 24, 23, 21, and 28 were also dispatched to assist.

First-arriving crews located a small kitchen fire and quickly went to work. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and bring the situation under control before it could develop into a more serious incident.

The quick response and coordinated efforts of all companies on scene helped keep the fire contained to the immediate area.

Kitchen fires can grow quickly. Never leave cooking unattended, and always keep anything that can burn away from the stove and cooking area.
