1/16/2025 0700 Command 25 in Service

01.17.2025 by Graham Fuller //

1/16/2025 – The Merion Fire Company is proud (and excited!) to put our new Command Vehicle into service.

The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Patrol PPV was put into service today to increase the protection of the public in Ardmore and the surrounding communities.  The team at Marriott’s Emergency Equipment did an excellent job up-fitting it with the latest technology and lighting. We were incredibly fortunate to receive funding for the vehicle through Senator Cappelletti’s office and thank her and her team for making it happen!

The unit will be used by the Chief and Officers at Ardmore to increase the command and control capabilities of the company, providing an increase in safety to our residents and firefighters during emergency responses by having a dedicated tool for communication, incident command, and manpower tracking.

If you haven’t seen it yet we are sure you will soon, and when you do, be sure to wave to the Chief!
