04/09/2026 1326 – The Merion Fire Company was dispatched to 49 Rittenhouse Place for a fire alarm. Burnt food in a second-floor apartment had set off the alarm.

4/6/2026 – The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore extends our deepest condolences to the members and families of Walnuttown Fire and Rescue as they mourn the loss of Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Fire Chief Rob Shick. The members, families, and friends of Walnuttown are in our thoughts and prayers.

03/22/2026 1020 – The Merion Fire Company was dispatched to the new Ardmore train station for a woman stuck in the elevator. Crews arrived to find a woman in the elevator on the ground floor.  She was quickly rescued from the elevator.
