11/5/2026 1114 Odor of Gas

11.06.2026 by Graham Fuller //

11/5/2026 | 1114 Hours – Station 25 responded to 83 Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore for a reported odor of natural gas inside a building.

Upon arrival, Ardmore firefighters investigated the reported odor and ventilated the building to help clear the fumes.

⚠️ Natural Gas Safety Reminder: Natural gas leaks can pose a serious fire and explosion hazard. If you smell gas in your home or business:

  • Leave the building immediately.
  • Do not operate electrical switches, appliances, or anything that could create a spark.
  • Call 911 from a safe location.
  • Do not re-enter the building until emergency personnel advise that it is safe.

🚒 Our volunteer firefighters are ready to respond whenever our community needs us—whether it’s a major fire or a potentially hazardous gas leak.
