01/11/2026 0307 – The Merion Fire Company, along with Rescue 21 and Rescue 22, turned out for a vehicle accident on Montgomery Avenue at Wister Road.

 

01/07/2026 1900 – Congratulations to Charles Davis on completing the Pennsylvania Entry Level Firefighter Training Program, better known as Firefighter 1! Charlie joined 41 other members of Montgomery County Fire Academy Class 2504 to complete over 180 hours of classroom and hands-on skills to become a certified firefighter. This is a tremendous amount of work and we congratulate Charlie and the rest of the class on this achievement!

01/03/2026 0333 – The Merion Fire Company’s first call of the new year was to a building fire in Delaware County. Station 25 responded to the Haverford Village Condominiums at 700 Ardmore Avenue for a reported building fire to assist Delaware County companies. The fire arriving engine and crew found a courtyard unit well involved and went into service with an 1.75” line. The fire was brought under control, and overhaul was carried out. The Company responded with all 3 apparatus and 16 members.  The Merion Fire Company is pleased to work with all the Companies in Delaware County, particularly the Oakmont Fire Company.
