6/21/2025 1100 – Engine 25-1 attended the PALM’s Juneteenth Block Party! It was a great time to celebrate freedom, culture, and community!

6/19/2025 1729 – The Merion Fire Company responded to over a dozen calls as severe storms blew through the area this afternoon. The calls ranged from elevator rescues, down power lines, water rescues, down trees, and even scaffolding hanging off a 9-story building.  Crews from Ardmore were out for more than 4 hours handling the various situations. Ardmore crews also took shifts overnight sitting fire watch while waiting for PECO to de-energize wires that had fallen onto a structure.

 

6/19/2025 0546 – The Merion Fire Company and the building response responded to the parking garage in Suburban Square for smoke coming from the building.  As it turned out, there was a smoking street cleaner creating smoke in the building.
