9/19/2025 – On Friday, September 19, luminaries gathered for the groundbreaking of Ardmore House II Affordable Housing along Ardmore Avenue. They included state and local representatives, bank funders, Lower Merion Commissioners, staff, police and fire executives, developers from Human Good and Ardmore Rotarians.

Dozens plunged ceremonial shovels into the site soon to be Ardmore House II.

 

9/18/2025 1537 – The Merion Fire Company handled a fire investigation at a school on East Athens Ave in Ardmore. The building was evacuated by staff. Investigation found a smoking fan that was removed.
