6/30/2026 | 0958 Hours – Station 25 responded to 225 W. Lancaster Ave. after a vehicle jumped the curb and struck the building.
Fortunately, there were no injuries, and the incident resulted in only minor damage to the building. Firefighters ensured the scene was safe before turning it over to the appropriate parties.
6/29/2026 | 1027 Hours – Company 25 responded to the area of Lancaster and Anderson Avenues for a reported odor of gas affecting three businesses.
PECO was already on location, and crews entered and checked the stores to investigate the source of the odor. A small gas leak was located, and the scene was turned over for utility repairs.
06/24/2026 | 1900 Hours – Congratulations to Sarah Scherf, Shane Burns, and Jesse Laurino on successfully completing the Pennsylvania Entry Level Firefighter Training Program, commonly known as Firefighter I!
Sarah, Shane, and Jesse joined their fellow members of Montgomery County Fire Academy Class 2602 in completing more than 180 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training to earn their Firefighter I certification.
This achievement represents months of dedication, hard work, and a commitment to serving our community. We are incredibly proud of Sarah, Shane, Jesse, and all the members of Class 2602 for reaching this important milestone in their firefighting careers.
