10/18/2026 1357 Building Fire

10.20.2026 by Graham Fuller //

10/18/2026 | 1357 Hours – Station 25 responded to 1209 W. Wynnewood Road for a reported apartment fire.

Units from Stations 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28, Narberth Ambulance (313), and the Fire Marshal’s Office responded as part of the initial building fire assignment.

Upon arrival, firefighters investigated and located a smoking light fixture in a basement room. Crews quickly addressed the problem and brought the incident under control before it could develop into a more serious situation.

Thanks to the quick response and coordinated efforts of the responding companies, the incident was handled without the need for an extended operation.

Not every building fire dispatch turns out to be a working fire, but every call receives the same level of attention and preparedness from our volunteers. 🚒
